Phulay Bay to Naka Island.

Today I sadly had to leave Phulay Bay, but I did it in style. I booked a private transfer by speedboat. A bubblegum pink motor boat picked me up from the beach near my room and drove me across the Andaman Sea with a couple of stops at islands along the the way. Total indulgence and pure heaven.

Phulay Bay was definitely one of the best places I’d ever stayed. My villa was so comfortable and had a private plunge pool. Right off the beach.

The food was amazing.

And the sunsets sublime.

I basically slept and ate and went to the pool and beach and took a long boat to the islands and watched a Thai dancer at sunset and Asian John Lennon sing some songs. Also had a couple of the best massages in my life. It was awesome. No notes

And did I mention the amazing toilet???

It opens and lights up when you approach (handy in the middle of the night) and has multiple bidet settings/options. Then it flushes automatically and cleans itself when you walk away. How will I go back to a manual one??

But here I am at the next resort - Naka Island. My bubblegum pink boat dropped me at the dock and I’m drinking margaritas by the pool as I wait for my room to be ready.
